Capitalised Interest

What is Capitalised Interest?

Capitalised Interest is a term used to describe the interest due on a loan which is added back to the Capital sum, rather than being repaid.

It can also be applied to interest being added to the original Capital in a savings account, where the interest is credited to the savings account instead of being paid out.
