What is the...
Established in 1891, the Consumer Credit Trade Association (CCTA) is a trade body that looks after the interests of generally smaller consumer lenders.
The CCTA provides expert help and advice, training and a disputes resolution service that aims to act as a filter for complaints intended ultimately for the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Members of the Consumer Credit Trade Association include loan providers, retail lenders, home credit providers, payday loan companies, logbook loan lenders, banks, mortgage lenders, motor finance providers, credit management consultants, debt collectors, tracing agents, credit insurers, legal practitioners and IT/Software suppliers.
