High Court Judgment (HCJ)

A High Court Judgment, often called a HCJ, means that the High Court has ordered you to repay what you owe. A HCJ begins as a County Court Judgment (CCJ). A CCJ will be transferred up to the High Court, when especially large amounts are involved, and to allow for more recovery options such as the use of High Court enforcement agents.
